Alton Exercise Class Timetable 2012All of our classes are open to non-gym members as well as gym members, and are all pay as you go. Below is a timetable of classes and at the base of the page you will find a description of each class. There's no need to book, just pop along and bring friends, there's plenty of room for everyone in our new exercise studio! It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating! So what are you waiting for? Zumba ToningComing Soon: Dates & Time TBC. Combines body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party, using lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks. ZumbatomicsDesigned exclusively for kids aged between 4-12, these classes are rockin’, high-energy fitness-parties packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines and all the music kids love. SuperSeniorsAimed towards an older age group this is a class which works on building strength and fitness. A fun and non intimidating path to fitness. PilatesPilates focuses on building your body's core strength and improving your posture, through a series of low repetition, low impact stretching and conditioning exercises. SpinningSpinning is a form of cycling exercise that focuses on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity and recovery.Involves using a special stationary bike with a weighted flywheel. YogaFocuses on breathing techniques combined with stretches and poses to improve posture, core and strength. Yoga is a great meditation for the mind. Bootcamp CircuitsA challenging circuit class, so prepare to sweat! Based on a combination of cardio and strength building. All levels welcome! Strength CircuitsFocuses on strength building and toning. Ideal exercise after a cardio workout. BoxerciseA circuit style class including boxing techniques. Excellent for increasing your fitness and toning up in a fun motivating class environment. Running ClubA safe way to train in the outdoors! Ideal for those already comfortable running. Injury RehabDesigned to help you recover effectively from all kinds of injury. A safe way to train in the outdoors! Ideal for those already comfortable running.
